This Polish Bike Line is Illuminated by Solar-Power http://ift.tt/2dsipkD

Bike Lane

A bicycle path near Lidzbark Warminski in Poland has had a very distinctive safety upgrade. The path has been overlaid with a synthetic material that glows blue at night. The particles “charge” during the day, taking their energy from the sun, and can glow for up to 10 hours. According to the Next Nature Network, luminphores that make up the material can be any color but they chose blue to suit the surrounding landscape. Clearly, it was a good choice—while the bike path was put in place as a safety measure for night cyclists, it turned out to be gorgeous!
